You don't need to relearn when switching clients: all proxy fields of antidetect browsers can correspond one-to-one with the results generated by Duckip. This page provides field mappings, common practices for each client, and three connection methods when not using a antidetect browser.
① Find the proxy settings entry → ② Select protocol and type → ③ Fill in four pieces of information → ④ Testing / Inspection Proxy → ⑤ Open the environment to check the IP
Field Mapping: One-to-One Comparison, Applicable to All Clients
| Duckip Generated Results | Common Field Names of antidetect browsers | Precautions |
|---|---|---|
| Proxy Server (Host) | Proxy Host / Server Address / Host | Just fill in the domain name, do not fill in a specific IP. |
| Port | Proxy Port / Port | Based on the generated result (example 1000 for dynamic residential, example 2000 for static proxy). |
| Username (Username) | Proxy Account / Username / Username | Must fully retain the _area-..._session-... parameter segment. |
| Password (Password) | Proxy Password / Password | Sub-account password, do not write it opposite to the username. |
| Protocol | Proxy Type / Protocol | Duckip only supports HTTP and SOCKS5; if the client provides options like SOCKS4 / SSH / HTTPS, please do not select them. |
| Extract Link | API Extract / Refresh URL / Change IP URL | Only used when automatic extraction is supported on the client side, and the number of extractions must be 1. |
Example host is not a fixed value
us.duckip.net:1000(dynamic residential proxy) andas.duckip.net:2000(static residential proxy) are documentation examples. Host prefixes vary by region and product. Always use the host and port copied from your dashboard.
Proxy Server:Port:Username:Password|host:port:user:pass|Proxy Server / Port / Username / Password
| Name used in the client | Corresponds to which step |
|---|---|
| Proxy Method / Proxy Mode | Select 'Custom Proxy' or 'API Extraction' |
| Proxy detection / Check proxy / Test | After filling in the information, first perform a connectivity test, then check the exit location |
| IP Query Channel | Only affects the display of location, does not affect usability |
| IP change reminder / refresh network information | It is recommended to enable long tasks, which is convenient for detecting exit drift |
Purple Bird Browser (commonly used for cross-border)

- How to operate: Save the device after detection passes.
- Expected Result: The detection shows success, and the export region can be seen.
- Create a browser environment with this device
- Interface Location: Environment / Store Management
- How to operate: Select this device as the network exit when creating the environment.
- Expected Result: After opening the environment, the output matches the device.
Yangtao Browser
- Enter own device
- Interface Location: "Device Management → Owned Devices"
- How to operate: Click 'Add Device'.
- Expected Result: The device addition form pops up.
- Select the type of proxy and fill in the information
- Interface Location: Proxy Type Host / Port / Username / Password
- How to operate: Select HTTP (or SOCKS5) as the proxy type, and fill in the four items according to the generated results.
- Expected Result: Four items match the dashboard results.
- Save after checking connectivity
- Interface Location: Check/Test button in the form
- How to operate: Save the device after testing is passed.
- Expected Result: Saved successfully and can be seen in the device list.
- Create an environment using this device
- Interface Location: Environment Management
- How to operate: Bind this device when creating.
- Expected outcome: The exit is correct after the environment is opened.
General Practices of Other Clients
VMLogin, ixBrowser, Maskfog, Multilogin, Migratory Bird, Huayang, and other clients all have proxy configuration entry points under the "Environment / Configuration File / Window" proxy tab, with a completely consistent process:
- New Environment / Configuration File / Window
- Interface Location: Client Main Interface
- How to operate: Click 'New' to enter the configuration panel.
- Expected Result: The panel displays a Proxy label.
- In the proxy tab, select 'Custom Proxy'
- Interface Location: Proxy Tab
- How to operate: Do not use the client’s built-in 'free proxy'; uniformly fill in the Duckip information.
- Expected Result: Host / Port / Account / Password fields appear.
- Select the agreement and fill in four pieces of information
- Interface Location: Protocol Four Fields
- How to operate: Prefer HTTP; copy the four items from the dashboard.
- Expected Result: Information is complete.
- Click to test / check the proxy
- Interface Location: Detection Button
- How to operate: Confirm connectivity and verify the destination country.
- Expected Result: Prompt successful.
- Save after configuring the time zone and language to open
- Interface Location: Fingerprint / Advanced Settings
- How to operate: Time zone and language follow the proxy country.
- Expected Result: After opening, the detected country of the site matches the settings.
| Client | Proxy Entry Keyword | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| VMLogin | Create New Browser Profile → Proxy Settings | Supports batch importing of proxy lists. |
| ixBrowser | New Window → Proxy Settings | Focused on team collaboration and window sharing. |
| Maskfog | New Environment → Proxy Configuration | Commonly used in combination with static residential proxies. |
| Multilogin | Profile → Proxy | Supports SOCKS5 and HTTP, with detailed fingerprint settings. |
| Migratory Birds / Blooming, etc. | New Environment → Proxy Information | Different field names, mapping relationship remains consistent. |
Not using a antidetect browser? Three connection methods for native/regular browsers
- Method 1: System Proxy (Windows)
- Interface Location: Settings → Network & Internet → Proxy
- How to operate: Turn on 'Manual Proxy Settings' and enter the host and port; when a username and password are required, use with a proxy client (Clash / Proxifier, etc.) to complete authentication.
- Expected Result: The browser visits the test site and shows the correct outbound country.
- Method Two: Browser Extensions (SwitchyOmega, etc.)
- Interface Location: Extension Settings → Create New Scene Mode
- How to operate: Select the protocol as SOCKS5 or HTTP, enter the host and port, and switch the scenario mode after applying; when disabling, switch back to 'Direct Connection'.
- Expected Result: The extension icon is displayed as enabled, and the site exit is detected correctly.
- Method Three: Proxy Manager (Proxifier, etc.)
- Interface Location: Profile → Proxy Server → Add
- How to operate: Enter the host and port, select the protocol as SOCKS5 / HTTP, and then configure rules to specify which processes use the proxy.
- Expected Result: The target process's connection shows that it is forwarded through the proxy.
Pitfalls of Local DNS and SOCKS5 When the system or application layer uses SOCKS5, some implementations resolve domain names locally; in fake-IP / routing-splitting environments, it is easy to get non-routable addresses. Suggested troubleshooting order: first HTTP protocol → then remote resolution (socks5h) → only then suspect the proxy itself.
Mobile / Emulator
| End | Tool | Configuration Key Points |
|---|---|---|
| Android | Postern / Proxy App | Add proxy → Server name, address, port → Select type SOCKS5 → Save and enable according to rules. |
| iOS | Shadowrocket-like tools | Add a node → Type SOCKS5 / HTTP → Fill in host, port, username, password → Select global or rule mode. |
| Emulator | NoxPlayer / Yeshen, etc. | Fill in the proxy in the emulator's network settings; if the emulator does not support username/password proxy, use a proxy manager on the host machine to do port forwarding. |
It is recommended to use 'General Mode' for extraction on mobile devices Mobile tools usually require filling in four fields separately: address, port, username, and password. Therefore, it is most convenient to choose the universal mode when extracting from the dashboard.
Pre-launch Consistency Checklist
| Inspection Item | Passing Criteria |
|---|---|
| Proxy Availability | Each environment passed the client’s built-in proxy check |
| Egress location | Consistent with country/city and business area, and of residential type |
| IP Uniqueness | Egress IPs do not repeat across environments in the same batch |
| Time Zone / Language | Consistent with the target egress country's environment |
| Fingerprint Difference | The browser fingerprints of any two environments are not the same |
| Account Isolation | Only one account is logged in per environment, cookies are not merged |
| Ledger Registration | Environment name, session, bound account have been recorded |
